I've been wanting to do a blog about one of the loves of my life for a long time, but have neither had the time, the energy, or the know-how to do it.
I love dogs. To the point that I know if I ever win that lottery that I don't play, I will be opening my own rescue and attempting to save and rehabilitate as many dogs as I can. The man I'm going to marry knows this and even fully supports the idea. Of course, as we both don't play the lottery, we know it's pretty much a pipe dream, but it's nice to imagine and wonder.
We have three dogs. Which is amazing to me considering I started off with one and never thought I'd get another due to his temperament. We're pretty strict doggie parents, but we love our dogs and do most of our activities with them.
And so I'm starting this blog to share all our dog activities with everyone. But really, I'm starting it for myself. I'd like to look back and read it fondly one day, maybe when one or more of our current dogs have passed, and are in the process of housebreaking a new one. Still, I'd also like to write it for my future children...and hopefully pass my love of dogs to them someday.
