So James and I have had these frozen marinated steak tips in the freezer for about a month now and we've always been meaning to eat it. We found out about a butcher in Cary and decided to give them a shot. But you know how it goes when the convenience of eating out is an easy option. We just never got around to it. But now that we're on this Medifast program, eating out can be depressing. You all those foods that you love that you can't have for now, and it's just sad. So, lately, we've just been eating in. And after perusing through my freezer, lo and behold, I found the Burgundy Wine Steak Tips.
James decided to grill it yesterday and lemme just say...it's sooo delicious. It's so delicious that I'm wondering if it's okay to be even eating while in this program. The meat was so tender and flavorful (even though it's been sitting in our freezer for how long?). We ate the allowed serving over a bed of romaine salad with tomatoes and cucumbers. Unfortunately, there was only enough for three servings, and James had the extra serving for his lean and green lunch today.
